Chilli Finance and their customers benefit from communication efficiencies using bulk SMS and email to SMS messaging, delivered by Red Oxygen. Since Chilli Finance integrated SMS messaging into their daily routine, brokers can keep in touch with customers through SMS technology with ease.
It allows Broker support staff to quickly pass on customer messages (if the Broker can’t be reached directly), by easily sending an SMS from their PC workstations and access ‘out of office’ staff immediately.

There are several reasons we use SMS messaging within the workplace environment;
- Important meeting reminders for our company Director are sent as SMS from Outlook. When time is tight, and mobiles are diverted (from calls) the SMS messages help appointments stay on schedule.
- Our new clients benefit because we use email to SMS technology to confirm meetings and give directions after a broker has spoken with them.
- When a customer is unreachable by other means, we send an SMS to ask for an update of their details which may have changed.
- When a broker is in an external meeting, their mobile will be diverted back to the office (to not be interrupted), we contact them via SMS to ensure they’re aware of a customers query, which then can get a quick response. This guarantees that we are never out of touch with our staff.
- We choose to contact potential ’leads’ interested in our services by using bulk SMS; this is a quick and non invasive introduction. With less pressure on the customer then conventional methods, we provide needed information to them in the event they can use our services. We find that customers like this no pressure form of contact as the information is always at their finger tips, stored in their mobile phone.
- Email to SMS is more immediate than leaving voicemail and often gets through to clients who are in mobile phone low-coverage areas.
We use Red Oxygen as they offer a superior integrated service, with high quality delivery and support. We reviewed other providers, but using the "Outlook" email SMS add-in is the key to us staying with Red Oxygen. Usage through Outlook provides us with a detailed history of sent messages to clients (as opposed to individual broker mobile phones, etc), and allows many standard editing techniques such as, copy & paste of repeat messages, templates, full address book integration, scheduled reminders, CC to email, calendar reminders and an integrated billing, reporting and administrative tool (for individual User accountability).
Since we send most messages with the reply to Email function, we can have a running commentary with the client to refer back to, if needed. Reliable service is the key and our business would not run as effectively and efficiently without the Red Oxygen SMS Solutions.
